Here is a brief overview of the home building process:
First: Contact our Team
Sounds simple. But the first step is locating the best builder in the Corpus Christi, Padre Island area and you have just tackled the very first step. It’s as easy as contacting one of our Home Specialists to learn where we are currently building and how we can help you build your home!

Second: Get Approved with a Lender
If you haven’t already done so, now is the time to get started with your financing. Meet with a Mortgage Lending Officer and request a pre-approval letter. Your lender will obtain information about your financial history and will run a credit report to find a rate and loan amount that fits you.
Third: Identify & Secure Property
You probably already have an idea of the location of your dream home. Here are some things to consider when identifying a lot to build your home:
- Compare the lot shape & size to your ideal floor plan.
- Define the budget that you want to spend on your lot.
- Find out city, neighborhood, and location of lot
- Consider the school districts and property tax rates when deciding.
Fourth: Custom Design your Home
This is the most exciting part of the process. If you don’t already have housing plans, don’t worry. We will work closely with you to ensure your new home is as beautiful as you have envisioned and that it is built with the highest standards of construction.
Fifth: Construction Process
Afterwards we finalize selections, sign the official contract, and begin construction!
Sixth: Walkthrough and Closing
Once your final walkthrough has been completed, our plan has now reached fruition and your home is now complete! We guarantee your satisfaction and hope we have the opportunity to make your friends and family members a part of our family of satisfied customers as well.
